Chief of Community Engagement

As Chief of Community Engagement (CoCE) you will lead our player-facing strategy and teams (Community, Events, Media/Comms). You’ll set the engagement roadmap, run community programs, and ensure feedback from Discord/servers flows into leadership and development. Day-to-day, you’ll mentor Community & Event Managers, coordinate with Moderation (CoMO) on safety, and partner with Dev/Build to ship player-loved updates and events. You’ll own the cadence of announcements, surveys, Q&As, and creator collaborations, and you’ll measure what works so we keep improving.

Proven leadership in community management for a multiplayer/game server or online community.
Excellent comms & stakeholder skills; able to write crisp announcements and run structured feedback cycles.
Comfortable operating cross-functionally with Moderation, Development, Events, and Media.
Data-aware: can set KPIs (retention, sentiment/CSAT, engagement) and report weekly.

Tools: strong with Discord, Kanboard, Nextcloud,

Timezone: Europe/London overlap preferred; able to attend key weekend/evening beats.

Age: 18+ (leadership role).

Nice to have: experience with creators/partners, survey design, crisis comms/safeguarding basics.
