Event Manager

The Event Manager will plan and deliver engaging, fair, and safe community events across All Gamemodes. You’ll own the 90-day event calendar, write concise event briefs, coordinate Hosts/Co-Hosts and Moderators, and run smooth show-days in Discord and in-game. You’ll work closely with Build/Dev for maps & rule sets, and with Community/Media for announcements and assets. On event day you manage run-of-show, safeguard players, and ensure anti-cheat/fair-play. After each event you’ll file a short post-mortem with metrics and action items.
Reports to: CoCE (Chief of Community Engagement).
Time: part-time/volunteer; peaks around event windows.
Goal: fun events that increase retention and showcase new features (e.g., Factions).

Experience running online game events or tournaments (Minecraft preferred).
Strong coordination & communication; calm under pressure.
Comfortable with Discord, Kanboard, Nextcloud; basic Google Docs/Sheets.
Understands safeguarding, moderation basics, and fair-play.
Availability for EU/UK-friendly times (Europe/London overlap).
Age 16+ (18+ preferred for management-facing tasks).
Nice to have: basic editing/graphics, plugin familiarity (WorldGuard/event plugins), creator collab experience.
